 Joe totally rocked this vacation even though he was not feeling super great, when we got home we took him to the doctor to find out he had his first double ear infection, poor guy.

Times they are a changing . . .

Sadly for us, the Montessori that Joe went to and now Kelsey attends has decided to close their doors.  The couple that owns it has been running it for 19 or so years and are ready for something else.  It was a very emotional departure for me.  Cliff Lake was an amazing school for both of my kids, it had a small family feel to it and I hate to give that up.  Thankfully, a new Montessori recently opened up across the street from the old one and a lot of the families are going there.  This was Kelsey's first week there and she LOVED it!  It was so nice that when I dropped her off there was a friend she knew already there.

Another big change this week, Kelsey finally got a big girl bed.  We weren't sure what to expect but she loves to sleep, she didn't come out at all and didn't fall off the bed.  No more cribs in our house!

Joe finished up his summer of fun - in total he did 4 weeks of hockey camp, 6 weeks at Camp Butwin, a week at The Works and some random days with me, Justin and the JCC.  He loved it all.  He loved being with his BFF at Camp Butwin, he loved hockey and games at that camp and building his arcade at The Works.

This week Joe was home with me a couple a days before we send him back to school next week.  We made the most of it.  I bought my first fishing license at age 34 :) And we have gotten a lot of use out of it, on Tuesday Joe caught 40, yes 40! fish and we also went to the Zoo to watch the bird show.

Joe's BFF Spencer has a birthday 2 days after Joe.  For his birthday they went to the American Ninja Warrior training facility in Eden Prairie.  Joe LOVED it!
